Dance & Performing
A universal language in my storytelling journey, dance carries messages beyond pages and words—connecting communities and cultures through both the international and domestic terminals that I have embarked on.
From decisive, energetic movements to soft, fluid, and graceful gestures, my storytelling journey through dance was more than just navigating between choices. It was not simply about selecting terminals—international flights through modern dance or domestic routes to traditional tray dance—but about finding balance, exploring depth, and embracing both. In every direction, dance became my universal medium, a shared language that transcended age, gender, and skin, connecting all people across boundaries.

International Terminal:
Modern Dance Hip-hop & Choreography

In my 13 years of dancing, modern dance has become my home base and later become my international terminal for exploring movement across cultures. It taught me how to translate messages into motion, to tell stories not with words but with rhythm, lines, and energy.
Whether it's the soft pulse of a Vietnamese pop melody or the upbeat groove of a Bruno Mars track, I've learned to connect with my audience through emotion before movement. Every beat offers a new language, and I use choreography to bridge those sounds into a shared feeling.
Through mastering choreography and experimenting with different styles, I learned to make choices with intention: every step, pause, or turn carries weight. Modern dance trained me to be decisive yet adaptive, teaching me that each trip or fall isn't failure but rehearsal for resilience.
Beyond technique, dance became a core part of my high school years. It's a space where discipline met creativity, and where I discovered that storytelling can live in both silence and motion.
Domestic Terminal:
Vietnamese Traditional Tray Dance
Having trained in hip-hop for most of my life, learning Vietnamese traditional Tray dance was at first a challenge. Yet this form has become my domestic terminal—one that lets me travel inward and reconnect with the southern roots of my heritage.
Through Tray dance, I've discovered a more feminine grace, balancing hip-hop's sharp energy with softness and elegance as I continue to grow as both a dancer and a proud Vietnamese woman.
